Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

Best DM Tools is an independent publisher of rankings and hands-on reviews of direct-message automation software. We built this site to be read, not to harvest data about you. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, the limited information we handle when you visit bestdmtools.com, why we handle it, and the choices you have. "We", "us", and "our" refer to the team behind Best DM Tools.

What we collect

We are deliberately light-touch. You do not need an account, a login, or any personal detail to read a single word on this site.

  • Privacy-friendly analytics. We measure aggregate, non-identifying signals such as which pages are opened, which rankings get the most attention, and the approximate region a visit came from (roughly country or city level, inferred at the moment of the request and never stored as a precise location).
  • No personal data to browse. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other identifying detail as a condition of reading. If you choose to email us, we only see what you put in that message.
  • No selling, no profiles. We do not build advertising profiles about you and we do not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.

Cookies

We keep cookies to the bare minimum. Any cookie we set exists to make our privacy-friendly analytics count a visit correctly, not to follow you around the web. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time and every page on Best DM Tools will still work exactly as before.

Third-party services

To understand which reviews are useful, we rely on a third-party analytics provider that is configured for aggregate measurement rather than individual tracking. That provider processes visit-level signals on our behalf under its own terms and privacy commitments. Beyond analytics, pages you reach by clicking an outbound link are governed by that destination's own privacy practices, which we do not control.

How we use data

The limited information we handle is used only to:

  • see which tools, comparisons, and guides readers find valuable;
  • spot broken pages, slow pages, and content gaps;
  • understand, at a regional level, who our writing reaches so we can improve it.

We never use this information to identify you personally, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Your rights

We respect the privacy rights that may apply to you wherever you live. Because we do not run accounts or collect identifying data by default, there is usually very little tied to you specifically, but you are still welcome to reach out.

  • If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability.
  • If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. For the record, we do not sell or share your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@bestdmtools.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you, and we will never charge you or treat you differently for making a request.

Data retention

We keep aggregate analytics only for as long as it stays useful for understanding trends, and it is retained in a form that does not identify individual visitors. If you email us, we hold that correspondence only for as long as we need it to answer you and keep a reasonable record, then we clear it out.

International visitors

Best DM Tools is read all over the world, and the services we use to run and measure the site may process data in countries other than the one you are visiting from. By using the site you understand that your visit may be handled in a jurisdiction with different data-protection rules than your own. We apply the same light-touch approach to every reader regardless of location.

Children

This site is written for adults evaluating business software and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@bestdmtools.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

As the site grows or the tools we use change, we may revise this policy. When we do, we will update the review date below. Meaningful changes take effect as soon as they are posted, so it is worth glancing at this page from time to time.

Contact

Questions, requests, or concerns about your privacy on Best DM Tools can go straight to hello@bestdmtools.com and a human will read them.
